Yuma motorcycle accident results in the death of one man

Motorcyclist loses control and sustains fatal injuries

The investigation from the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office showed that a 27 year old male was riding a motorcycle near Engler Ave and 16th Street. Police believe that at approximately 10:15 pm on a Wednesday night, the motorcyclist started to swerve, lost control of the vehicle, and then collided with both the median and a stop sign. The man was later confirmed to have died at the scene by emergency responders. The investigation was still open at the time of the news report, but police do not believe that the driver was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
